The thieves targeted the Tesco Express store, in Stourbridge Road, Halesowen.

Staff were forced into a security office and threatened by the three men, who wore scarves over their faces.

The robbers stole cash and cigarettes before fleeing in a silver Audi estate car.

Officers today said no-one had been hurt in the raid, which happened just before 11pm on Monday, but staff were left badly shaken.

Sgt Toby Davis, of Dudley CID, said officers wanted to hear from people who may have seen the vehicle or have any information about the robbery.
