Robbers net cash in raids on Cannock shops
A gun-wielding robber stormed a takeaway in Cannock and a cash box was taken from a supermarket in the Black Country in two separate raids.

An armed raider took money from the till at takeaway Cod 'n' Pizza in Stafford Road, Huntington.
And in a separate incident a cash box was snatched from a security guard at Tesco Express, in Lichfield Road, New Invention yesterday.
Police are appealing for help following both incidents.
The robbery at Cod 'n' Pizza was reported at 10pm last Thursday. Faye Casey, spokeswoman for Staffordshire Police, said: "A man had gone into the shop and threatened staff with a weapon believed to be a firearm. He was dressed all in black and had his face covered."
Meanwhile West Midlands Police are trying to a find the man who took an unknown quantity of cash in the Tesco raid at around 3.20pm yesterday.
