Toy gun is brandished in raid on off-licence
Robbers used a toy gun to raid an off-licence before fleeing with £10, alcohol and chocolate.
Armed police were called to Chris's Store, in Bradley, Bilston.
Shortly after the attack at around 2.25pm yesterday, three men aged 20, one aged 21, another 22 and a 16-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of robbery.
Police said they were being questioned by detectives today.
Police spokesman Brigg Ford said the weapon brandished during the raid at the store, in Weddell Wynd, had been assessed by experts and that it was not a real firearm.
Councillor Bert Turner, who represents Bilston East, said: "We have had our fair share of incidents like these in Bradley, people have got to respect other people's property and livelihood.
"These people who are being targeted are the very people who are trying to give a service to the community. That is what riles me."
Last month, in a separate raid, a hooded gang of axe-wielding robbers fled with up to £100,000 worth of cash and jewellery following a two-minute raid at a pawnbrokers in Bilston.
The four robbers, who were also armed with a Taser stun gun, emptied the safe at Bilston Cash Centre.
