CCTV captures suspected Bilston thief
This CCTV image shows the moment a suspected thief brazenly walked into an electrical store before walking out with a laptop worth £700.
The fashionably-dressed man was caught on camera taking the computer from the Brighthouse store, in Church Street, Bilston.
Within just a few seconds of arriving, he had tucked the £700 Acer laptop under his arm and casually walked out. The suspected thief was wearing a white T-shirt with writing on the front, jeans and of dark trainers. He also wore a beaded necklace. Pc Matthew Kidson, of Bilston East neighbourhood team, said: "This CCTV images is of a really good quality. I would urge anyone who recognises this man to come forward and assist us with our inquiries."
The theft happened on August 6. Officers are appealing for anyone who recognises the man to call Wolverhampton police on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
