Wolverhampton club's CCTV scoured in killer hunt

Wolverhampton police were today scouring CCTV footage from a nightclub as they hunt for the killer of 23-year-old reveller Tom Kirwan.

Wolves fan Mr Kirwan, from Oxley, was knifed outside the Uberra Club, off Wednesfield Road, Wolverhampton, after a brawl spilled from the venue out on to the street.

Murder detectives have now completed their search outside the venue – the former Canal Club – and reopened Wednesfield Road.

More than 340 people have joined a Facebook group to pay tribute to former St Edmund's Catholic School pupil Mr Kirwan, a hot rolling processor at Bridgnorth Aluminium.
