Fix Auto welcomes Oldbury to network
Fix Auto UK has further strengthened its presence in the West Midlands with Oldbury-based A Thompson Motor Bodies joining the network.
The Churchbridge business will operate as Fix Auto Oldbury and is the organisation’s 109th franchise partner.
The new addition complements the network’s existing sites within the immediate region including Fix Auto Wednesbury Central, Fix Auto Walsall, Fix Auto Birmingham North, Fix Auto Birmingham East and Fix Auto Kings Norton.
Managed by Harvey Mann, the 30,000 sq ft repair centre has been a family-owned business for more than three decades and has recently undergone a major investment programme transforming and modernising the site to include a new efficient layout and three spray booths. The business has a capacity to repair up to 75 vehicles a week.
Commenting on the company’s decision to join Fix Auto UK, Mr Mann said: “The time is now perfect to join a network and Fix Auto UK has a fantastic reputation within the industry.
“We have grown and become highly regarded throughout the region. We pride ourselves on being here for everyone, whether it is for your standard family car or the most exclusive vehicles available. We have realised over recent times we can only take the business so far on our own. We are extremely ambitious, joining Fix Auto UK is the obvious next step for us and it’s one we are really excited to be taking.”
Fix Auto UK managing director Ian Pugh, added: “While we have always had a strong presence in Birmingham and the West Midlands as a whole, we would always welcome any business with the drive and ambition to match our own and that held by every franchise partner. Harvey and his team are a great fit for us and I look forward to seeing their progress and achievements as part of the Fix Auto UK family.”
