£3m flying start provides a perfect ‘moving in’ present for new offices
Berriman Eaton Worcestershire has capped an impressive first three months of trading by officially moving into its new base in the county.
The company, which is run by property experts Debbie Fellows and Julia Simonds, has put the finishing touches to its prestigious offices at Churchill and Blakedown Golf Club near Kidderminster.
More than £150,000 has been spent on setting up the new operation and this is already paying dividends as more than £3 million of properties have been sold or let by the experienced duo in just a few weeks.
This is just the start, with the estate agents now looking to make the most of an extension to the Stamp Duty holiday and increasing demand from buyers looking to move out of the city and into the countryside.
“The Churchill Suite is a real hidden gem, set in the heart of the wonderful Worcestershire countryside and central to the areas we have worked in for over 20 years,” explained Julia Simonds, director at BE Worcestershire.
“In the old days, buyers had to visit the local estate agency shop to find out what properties were available and you had to be on the high street to be seen as an established agency. These days, people can get information, pictures and videos instantly and want more flexibility when it comes to meetings and viewings, meaning we could be a bit more creative with our location.”
She continued: “We now get to look out across a golf course every day and clients that visit us are wowed by our amazing views. All the technology is now in place and the location is at the heart of all the main villages we have or are looking to have properties in.”
BE Worcestershire, which is part of Berriman Eaton Estate Agents, offers specialist advice on all aspects of the residential selling, purchasing and lettings process.
Maximising the local knowledge of Debbie and Julia, the company is building a strong portfolio of properties from historical cottages and family homes to luxury houses and country dwellings.
They have used their unique experience to create a five-point plan that will take the stress away from the client by getting the price right at valuation, getting the property ready for viewing, accompanied viewings, careful negotiations and a smooth exchange and completion.
Debbie went on to add: “Our market research told us that one of the most frustrating things for both buyers and sellers is never being able to speak to the same person twice at larger estate agents.
“We took this on board and have ensured that all contact with BE Worcestershire will always be with either Julia or myself and, in just the first three months, we have received so much positive feedback on the personal service, our local understanding and attention to detail.”
She concluded: “A lot of investment has been channelled into social media as a way of showcasing the new brand. Working closely with Taylor Made Media, we have embarked on strong Facebook and Instagram campaigns and this is reaching a massive audience, which is fantastic news for our clients looking to sell.”
Berriman Eaton was created in 2006 following the amalgamation of David Berriman and Eaton Estates.
The Churchill and Blakedown Golf Club locations joins three existing offices in Bridgnorth, Tettenhall and Wombourne, giving the company extensive coverage of the Wolverhampton, South Staffordshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire property markets.
