93 events in business festival brochure
There will be 93 events taking place as part of the third Black Country Business Festival next month.
The festival, which was originally created by the Black Country Chamber of Commerce, had originally been due to be held in May.
The outbreak of coronavirus in the UK forced organisers to postpone it.
It will now run from October 5 to 15 with a mixture of online only, hybrid and physical events.
The bulk of the events – 78 – will now be digital only.
A brochure for all events has just been launched and can be seen online at https://indd.adobe.com/view/9e69a700-42fa-45a0-86ab-e5311e70d9dd
Places at events can be booked now at https://www.blackcountrybusinessfestival.com/
Chamber chief executive Corin Crane told the festival steering group: "The take up of events has been absolutely incredible."
He said that plans were already being made for the fourth festival which will be held on dates to be confirmed next year.
This year's festival opening had been planned to be staged at the new Resonance music institute at the Waterfront in Brierley Hill, but with the latest Government restrictions taking effect this week it was decided to stage the launch online from 10am on October 5.
Mr Crane said that having so many events online might help towards achieving the ambition of giving the festival a national profile.
"It means we don't have to be restricted to having people take part from the West Midlands and it gives us a chance to show what the Black Country has to offer.
"Let's keep the energy going and make sure this festival is amazing and one to remember," added Mr Crane.
