Business festival second week underway

Following a launch at the University of Wolverhampton’s new Springfield Campus on Monday, there has been everything from premises showcase tours, topical conferences about post-Brexit Britain and women in business, social value workshops around mental health in the workplace, and more.

More than 100 free business events make up the total Black Country Business Festival programme running over the two weeks.

Week two promises to be just as diverse and exciting, say organisers.

On Monday, the Black Country Housing Group and partners will be promoting the benefits of recruiting ex-forces personnel, while on Tuesday Dudley Council is sharing investment opportunities.

The Chamber’s annual Business Expo is taking place on Wednesday, and there’s a workshop to help combat fears when public speaking at the Grand Theatre on Thursday.

Headline professional services event, ‘The Future of Professional Services firms lies in Expertise Automation’ by Talbots Law, is taking place on Thursday, May 22 and it features legal futurist, Chrissie Lightfoot.
