QES is Britain’s largest and longest running business survey. It is a powerful tool for representing the voice of business to Government; the results are analysed and used by the Black Country Chamber at a local level, and nationally through the British Chambers of Commerce.

It will be the last QES survey before the Brexit deadline on March 29.

The information gathered is used by the Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee as one of its key benchmarks when setting interest rates.

Chamber policy officer Dan Turner said: “Our quarterly economic survey is a vital tool for us to assess the health of the Black Country economy. By taking two minutes to fill in the survey, businesses can provide us with the incredibly valuable data we need. The results are monitored closely by a range of important organisations. No other business representative organisation has the reach to undertake a private sector survey of this size, so the chamber network is unique in its ability to collect this important data.”

The Chamber has two prizes to give away that eill be chosen at random from completed forms. They are a midweek golf day for four people and a spa day for two at Patshull Park Golf and Country Club.
