Bond Wolfe hits £6m with office-to-residential sale
Property agents Bond Wolfe have sold a third redundant West Bromwich office block which will be redeveloped as residential accommodation.
Following on from the sales of Society House and Parham House last year, the Black Country specialists have sold Metro Court, a substantial freehold town centre former office building to a private investor.
The property has been sold for £2.1 million and will be converted into 45 apartments, including 17 one bedroom, 24 two bedroom and 4 three bedroom apartments.
Bond Wolfe managing partner James Mattin said: “Bond Wolfe have already transacted over £6 million in sales in 2019 and this sale is typical of a number of the transactions we concluded in West Bromwich last year.
“Metro Court will provide much needed and in demand residential accommodation in the town centre while offering excellent transport links to the wider West Midlands.”
Metro Court totals 26,225 sq ft over three floors and has an under croft car park for 25 vehicles. It is within walking distance of all amenities and the metro and bus stations.
