Wolverhampton firm grows team
Wolverhampton-based Luvo Financial has launched its growth plans with the appointment of Rebecca Jones to a new role at the firm.
Rebecca takes up the newly created position of office manager after two years with global giant Finning UK, where she delivered IT support to the Cannock-based PMO team.
Luvo Financial is an independent firm specialising in advising businesses about R&D Tax Credits, Capital Allowances and Patent Box claims, and Rebecca will be based at its regional office at Hilton Hall, Essington near Wolverhampton, supporting Luvo’s partners and founders Ian Batkin and Vicki White.
Rebecca, who lives at Great Wyrley, said: “This is a great opportunity to join an ambitious team and growing firm, that works with businesses and independent accountancy practices across the West Midlands.
“I am looking forward to adding to my financial knowledge and experience to include the specialist R&D Tax and Capital Allowances advice that the Luvo team provides, and supporting Ian and Vicki into the next phase of growth as the firm celebrates its third anniversary.”
Vicki White added: ““Since launching Luvo, demand for our specialist, no-nonsense advice on R&D Tax Credits, Capital Allowances and Patent Box claims, has steadily grown. With the business now firmly established as a leading and effective adviser in this specialist area, through our work with accountancy practices, their clients and direct with private businesses across the UK, we are looking to grow the team to support our growth and recruitment strategy and Rebecca and the new role is integral to this.
She adds: “We are also in the process of creating a new team of Associates that will see us recruit into a number of senior roles that will also support the next phase for the business.”
Rebecca holds the Financial Planning Certificates FP1, 2 and 3, and the CeMap Certificates 1 to 3.
Luvo Financial works with businesses and independent accountancy practices across the West Midlands. Founded in 2015, Luvo’s partners Ian Batkin and Vicki White are both qualified accountants.
