West Bromwich-based Guest Motors has invested £2 million to launch a brand new parts company called Partscomm

The business offers all makes of commercial vehicle parts and consumables ready for same and next day delivery across central England.

Partscomm, which has a brand new 23,500 sq ft warehouse in Hinckley, Leicestershire, will be supplemented by 14 distribution centres and delivered by a fleet of dedicated vehicles.

The new firm – part of the Guest Group which also includes Guest Truck & Van and Sherwood Truck & Van – is offering thousands of parts, equipment and accessories for every make of truck, trailer and van, regardless of model.

It is the latest venture from a family business established in West Bromwich more than a century ago, that is now the UK's largest IVECO commercial vehicle dealer and is also one of the largest Fiat Professional dealers.

“As a group we are continually monitoring opportunities in the marketplace, whilst also ensuring we are meeting the needs of our customer base and Partscomm is a natural evolution of our parts operations to do just that,” said Robert Spittle, managing director of the Guest Group.

Partscomm has initially created a dozen jobs, with regional specialists and warehouse staff, and more are expected in line with the ambitious growth plans over the next 12 months.

“The launch of Partscomm marks an incredibly exciting milestone in the truck, van and trailer parts aftermarket,” said Jonathan Cutler, sales and marketing manager.

“We have spent some considerable time refining our product lines to ensure that customers will have the parts they need with a single delivery. We’re proud to be able to confidently promise our customers great service and availability, as well as very competitive prices right from the start.”

Partscomm provides a comprehensive range of ready-to-order quality parts for all brands - from complex components through to everyday workshop consumables, tools and body panels.

“With everything available in one place, we offer multi-fleet managers and workshops a convenient and reliable way of sourcing parts without any compromise on quality or service,” continued Jonathan. “Our experienced staff are on hand to provide expert advice about our product range, so customers can be confident in what they’re ordering.”

All 14 Partscomm distribution centres and the central Hinckley depot have trade counters for walk-in customers and collections, while the firm also promises same day delivery for stock items.
