Coda chooses Kidderminster for UK base
A European manufacturer is opening its first UK site in Kidderminster after seeing major growth in sales.
Coda UK, which specialises in the sale and distribution of products used in the entertainment industry, is opening a new office at Ratio Park.
The technology business supplies products to hotels, bars, nightclubs, television production, theatres and has also seen its products used on tours by artists including Ed Sheeran, The Script and Placebo.
The company’s UK operation has signed a five-year lease in a deal brokered by leading commercial agency Fisher German, which is marketing the new development.
The new office is set to open at the end of January and will not only distribute Coda products, but also offer education and training as well as technical support from its new site.
Rich Rowley, managing director of Coda UK, said: “Coda was seeing an increasing amount of business coming from the UK so decided to expand and open a dedicated site to cater for its growing client base.
“We are a technology-based company and our new office is modern and clean so reflects the business. It also provides us with an excellent central UK location to do business from.
“We had a very good experience working with Fisher German who found us a space which was excellent value for money.
“We are now looking forward to moving into the office at the end of January and excited about the opportunities it will bring.”
Coda UK will join Tills Direct who was the first occupier to arrive at Ratio Park. A further unit has also been sold to a private investor.
Rob Champion, partner at Fisher German, said: “It is excellent to welcome Rich and the team at Coda UK to Ratio Park.
“The new development is situated on an already thriving business park and its central location should help the company further expand on its growing UK client base.”
