Prima Makeup has been named Best Specialist Cosmetics Company in the Midlands Enterprise Awards 2017.

The awards are designed to highlight individuals and firms within the region and celebrate their innovation, customer satisfaction and performance over the previous twelve months.

The company, which was founded in August 2016 by 34-year-old company director Emma Moss, is based in Stourbridge and stocks a range of innovative sparkly cosmetics, including pressed glitter eyeshadows, highlighters and face and body glitters.

Emma said “As a start-up business who have only been operating for thirteen months, we are thrilled to have won this award. We were exceptionally proud to be the first pressed glitter that launched onto the UK market and we pride ourselves on the quality and originality of our products. Our formula is unique to our brand which is both cruelty free and vegan friendly.”

“We are looking to build on the success that we have seen in the first year and have recently launched our sister events company Prima Sparkle. Whether you have a company party or an evening event, our makeup artists will arrive equipped with sparkle and fine cosmetics to make you sparkle!”

Initially an e-business, Prima Makeup is currently stocked in 30 outlets nationwide with plans to expand further onto the high street with their exciting Prima Beauty range.

The firm will also be attending the National Wedding Show which is held at the NEC in Birmingham at the end of this month
