Webinar on building back better
An hour-long online webinar Build Back Better: Lessons from the Circular Economy is taking place on Tuesday, July 14.
EnTRESS (Environmental Technologies and Resource Efficiency Support Service), which is based at the University of Wolverhampton, will be joined by Debbie Ward and Philippa Birch-Wood to discuss circular economy principles and a green COVID-19 recovery from 10am.
Debbie Ward (Gleeds, CirkloConsult and Birmingham Circular Economy Club co-ordinator), will give a brief overview of the circular economy within the context of 'building back better' and discuss examples of cities that are using CE strategies to enable a green and inclusive recovery post Covid-19. Philippa Birch-Wood, virector of Thrive at Chetwoods and UK Green Building Council regional representative, will demonstrate how circular economy principles can be applied to building design and highlight the guidance available to project teams.
