Nationwide manufacturing video conference planned over Covid-19 impact
Crowe, the national audit, tax, advisory and risk firm, is hosting a nationwide conference call to discuss the challenges facing UK manufacturing during the Covid-19 crisis
The discussion, via the Zoom platform, will hosted by Crowe’s national head of manufacturing Johnathan Dudley, who is based at the Midlands office in Oldbury.
He said: “The Covid-19 crisis has presented a number of challenges for manufacturing businesses.
“At Crowe, we have been working hard to lobby, influence and ultimately change the approach to the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme, the introduction of the Coronavirus Large Business Interruption Loan Scheme and other measures.
“We would like the input of people working in the sector, so we can feed back to the government. We want to know what, is working and what is not and enable an open discussion with fellow manufacturers.”
As well as manufacturers, the conference on May 1, will also feature input from organisations such as the Confederation of British Metalforming, based in West Bromwich.
Those interested can join the Zoom conference at 12 noon. For details on accessing the meeting, contact Nathan Sanghera by e-mail to nathan.sanghera@crowe.co.uk or call 0121 543 1900.
