Skills and funding event in Dudley

Black Country businesses are being invited to attend an event in Dudley to find the latest information about business and skills initiatives in the immediate post-Brexit environment.

There will be a variety of information available about current funding and support with a range of speakers on Tuesday, March 17 from 8.30am in The Village Hotel on behalf of the Black Country Local Enterprise Partnership.

Businesses will be able to hear an update of current and upcoming skills programmes in the region from the Black Country Skills factory team supported by speakers from employers and Walsall College.

This will include work placement examples, how they can benefit a business and how they will become integrated into a range of new and existing training programmes and qualifications.

There will also be information about the Apprenticeship Levy Transfer Scheme, Skills Support for the Workforce funded training, construction hubs and the Digital Retraining Scheme

Members of the Black Country Growth Hub team will be present to provide an overview of business support available to businesses based in Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton.
