Issues on the agenda at the HR Lunch Club organised by FBC Manby Bowdler will include an update on the new General Data Protection Regulations to be introduced in May 2018, compensation for injury to feelings for Working Time Claims, the National Minimum Wage and deductions for cost of uniforms and calculating holiday for casual staff.

The event will be held at the firm’s George Street office in Snow Hill from 12.45pm to 2pm and is open to anyone who has to deal with employees at any level, from experienced in-house human resources managers to those with no HR experience.

Lawyers from the employment team will be on hand to answer any questions and there will be a light lunch served.

Employment partner Tracy Worthington said: “The HR Lunch Club is the ideal forum for HR professionals of all levels who want to discuss the topics at the forefront of employment law.

“It’s also a great place to share best practice and network with others working in the same field and dealing with the same challenges.”
