Midven to run investment workshop
Venture capital firm Midven has recently been appointed to manage the £35 million equity finance portion of the Midlands Engine Investment Fund (MEIF) and will look to invest these funds into high-growth businesses across the West Midlands over the next five years.
As part of its work and development in the region, Midven will be hosting an interactive workshop next week to help budding entrepreneurs learn more about venture capital investment.
Working in partnership with Entrepreneurs for the Future (e4f), the workshop will help entrepreneurs understand how to best prepare an effective investor pitch and learn how successful companies raise early-stage funding.
The workshop will be led by Midven’s investment director, Giovanni Finocchio, and take place at the iCentrum – TfWM Room at Innovation Birmingham Campus on Holt Street on Wednesday March 14 from 10am to 12pm. Midven will be presenting at the below five roadshows and welcomes regional entrepreneurs to attend:
Stoke - March 19, 9.30am - 11.30am
