'Last call' for help for Dudley start-up businesses

Emerging Dudley business owners are being invited to get on board with the last in a series of fully-funded events aimed at helping them start their own business.

The final two day workshop in a programme to help Dudley’s budding entrepreneurs is being held next month.

The Start-Up programme is coming to a close at the end of March, with the final two-day workshops being held on ‘CEDRIC the Bus’ at Halesowen College’s Coombs Wood campus on March 4th and 5th.

Up to 12 participants can take part in the event, which is being funded by Dudley Borough Council using the UK Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

Bridgnorth-based business consultancy Good2Great is working with the council to deliver the package of support for small businesses to get them up and running with their ideas.

“This is the last call for anyone interested in getting help with a new business idea,” said Eddie Allan of Good2Great.

“It’s a great opportunity for people to develop their plans and receive a range of help and support from ourselves and partner agencies.

“The same course can also be accessed online via live modular courses delivered twice a week.

“Once completed, people can access up to three one-to-one support sessions with our experienced business advisors, all of whom have a range of expertise and experience.

“There are only a limited number of spaces, so I would urge people to get in touch as soon as possible.”

Anyone interested in joining the business start-up workshops, which run from 9.30am until 4.30pm, can contact Tamsin Preece on 01746 330730 or start@good-2- great.co.uk or visit https://bit.ly/DMBCSTART1
