Real Estate firm Watling Real Estate has sold two adjoining warehouses in Ridgacre Road for a multi-million pound sum on behalf of a FTSE-listed client.
The buildings were on the market with a guide price of £3 million and have been purchased by Oldbury firm Polydrain Civils for their own occupation.
The two long leasehold units, which span 61,484 sq ft on a three acre site, are strategically located 0.5 mile from the A41 Black Country New Road, offering excellent access to both the M5 and M6 Motorways, agents say.
Chris Davies, a director in the Birmingham office of Watling Real Estate, said: “The sale has allowed our client to consolidate their operations into an existing facility while providing much needed space for the purchaser to expand their operations and strengthen their presence in the region.
“This sale demonstrates that owner-occupier demand for well-located industrial and warehouse premises continues to remain robust, despite the wider economic headwinds experienced over recent times.”
