West Midlands firm ranked in top three companies to work for in engineering sector

West Midlands engineering firm adi Group has been celebrating after the firm was rated in the top three companies to work for in the Best Companies’ 2024 list of construction and engineering companies across the UK.

The business surpassed previous years’ ratings, also placing at number 69 in the overall Best Large Companies to Work For list, and at 31 in the West Midlands list.

It also retained its 2-star accreditation as an ‘outstanding’ company to work for, rewarding its efforts to meaningfully engage and support its workforce year-on-year.

Best Companies’ nationally recognised accreditation celebrates employers that care about and value their people, striving to ensure they remain happy and engaged. Rating businesses using its unique b-Heard survey, the accreditation encourages organisations to work towards a high standard of excellence.

Discussing how this achievement follows the trajectory of the firm’s strategic goals, CEO, Alan Lusty, said: “Earning a third-place spot as the best company to work for in our sector is an incredible accomplishment.

In this year’s survey, 78% of staff agreed the experience gained from their job is valuable for the future, with the business actively promoting personal growth and providing quality training and development opportunities.
