Homeseekers will soon be able to enquire about the collection of high-quality, energy-efficient homes, expertly built in collaboration with five-star housebuilder Bovis Homes, just off Habberley Road.

Designed and built to a contemporary specification with maximum versatility at their core, the variety of home styles will sit in an ideal location for a residents to enjoy the ideal blend of rural and urban living, with the Habberley Valley Nature Reserve and more green spaces to the west and the charming amenities of a thriving town centre to the east.

Located less than two miles to the west of Kidderminster town centre, the two and three bedroom homes will be available to move into in early 2025.

Bromford Shared Ownership gives first-time buyers and those who do not currently own a property the opportunity to secure a new build home with Bromford. Homebuyers pay a mortgage on the share they own, and pay rent on the remaining share, meaning a smaller deposit is required.

Then, when the time is right, the homeowners can purchase more shares through a process called staircasing, gradually increasing the ownership of the home.

Carina Wilde, Vistry’s Sales & Marketing Director for Central West Midlands said: “We are thrilled to be partnering with Bromford to deliver a beautiful collection of affordable homes as a welcome extension to our already thriving Habberley Park development.

Kidderminster’s unique location will allow residents to cherish the best of the countryside without being detached from a town, so to be contributing towards the housing needs here is rewarding.”

Catherine Jarrett, Director of Sales and Marketing at Bromford, said: “Working with esteemed partners like Bovis to produce great homes in even greater communities is important to us, as we continue to extend our portfolio of high-quality homes across the region.

“It’s great to be meeting the demand for excellent, energy-efficient Shared Ownership homes in Worcestershire, with the homes here meeting the needs of a variety of home seekers.

“Our partnership with Bovis assures both us and our buyers that they’re settling down in a fantastic home with an abundance of contemporary features and nearby amenities for the challenges of modern life.”

Situated close to the A456, the new homes development offers easy access to a variety of further afield locations, with regular bus routes and rail networks also making Ludlow, Leominster and Birmingham easier to travel to.

Kidderminster is rich in places to eat, exercise, socialise and relax, with a number of restaurants, parks and fitness centres, while the development is well served by high-quality nearby schools, including Franche Primary School and the Bewdley School for secondary aged children, both rated ‘Good’ in their recent Ofsted report.
