Brewery in 'advanced talks' to take over city centre pub with plans to change its name
A Staffordshire brewery says it is in advanced talks to take over a city centre pub – but it is also planning to change its name.
Titanic Brewery – which operates the bod cafe bar in Streethay – is hoping to take over The Pig in Tamworth Street, Lichfield.
A spokesman said they were in “advanced talks” and staff were "excited" about the new venture.
