Strong sales growth for Angling Direct
Angling Direct, which has stores in Halesowen and Willenhall, enjoyed strong sales growth across UK and Europe in the six months to the end of July.

The group said it remains well capitalised and securely positioned to continue investing in strategic opportunities to capture further market share in the UK and Europe.
New stores in Cardiff and Goole opened in the half year.
Steve Crowe, chief executive of Angling Direct, said robust sales growth had been achieved against a challenging consumer backdrop.
"We made strong progress on our strategic priorities in the UK growing our store estate and unveiling our MyAD loyalty programme which attracted 110,000 members in its first two months," he added.
