Businessman causes social media storm after revealing new colour of £300,000 Lamborghini Urus wrapped by Yiannimize
Ste Hamilton, businessman from the Black Country has caused outrage on social media after showing the new colour of his newly wrapped Lamborghini Urus.
Ste, a property developer originally from Smethwick, now based in Colmore Row, Birmingham, revealed the new colour on Instagram yesterday (Monday), after it was wrapped by world-famous Yiannimize.
Ste Hamilton, award winning property developer let his staff all choose a colour to wrap his Urus as part of a YouTube video with world famous TV personality Yiannimize. They delivered the vehicle to Yianny Chamborlous with 10 envelopes. Each staff member had chosen the colour they would wish to see on a Lamborghini, and Yianny then chose an envelope at random and went with that colour.
Now the colour has been revealed, and within hours of it first being seen social media it has gauged thousands of comments from people saying that Ste has now 'gone too far', or at least he knows the can won't get stolen'.
The car has been wrapped in brown, with a black bonnet and then white alloy wheels - a combination that not many would have guessed. However, one lucky commenter on Ste's Instagram post guessed the correct colour and has been gifted an Apple Macbook by Ste.
The car was purchased from Styners Lamborghini Leicester as a Urus S in a stock orange colour for £300,000. Ste decided it was time for change and tried to find a fun way to make this happen. Spending tens of thousands of pounds on a wrap chose by his staff was his idea (be it a bad one). The first part of the video was posted on Ste Hamilton’s YouTube channel on October 15 and the wait for the big reveal commenced, and yesterday was the day of the reveal.
Monday, October 23 was the date when Ste and the rest of the UK realised what a HUGE mistake he had made.
Yianny posted a photo to his 1 million Instagram followers at noon. Within minutes hundreds and hundreds of people voiced how much they hated the car.
No other car wrapped by Yianny has received such negative press and such disbelief in the fact that a car of such finesse can look so 'awful'.
People commented things like: "At least it won't get stolen.", and another added saying, "That's arguably the worst Urus colour I have ever seen."
People have shown their displeasure in their thousands, but Ste, who also made worldwide news by doing a baby gender reveal by getting Yianny to wrap the colour of his Lamborghini in the blue to indicate he was having a baby boy, has often made the headlines.
The businessman made headlines last year after turning up to a school in the West Midlands and handing out thousands of pounds worth of designer trainers, and then before Christmas in 2022, he popped up at another school, this time handing out not only designer trainers but also televisions and games consoles.
The colour design of this Urus wrap is said to be inspired by US hip-hop artist Travis Scott, however, the fans have come to the conclusion that the £300,000 car has been made to look like rubbish.
