Bradshaws Christmas Trees have been working over the last month to provide people with a warm, friendly and safe place to visit, buy a Christmas tree and enjoy some time outdoors.

Director Edward Beard said the business, which has been growing and selling Christmas trees for more than 30 years, had been very busy since it was confirmed by the government that it could stay open.

He said: “We were worried about having to close due to lockdown, but the Prime Minister’s announcement about businesses like ours staying open was a relief.

"It’s made a real difference to our business as we only work during a certain period each year and our business has been booming as we’ve sold plenty of trees.

"This might be due to the lockdown effect and people being able to come out of their houses to buy a tree, so I hope it continues all the way up to Christmas.”

The business has ensured it is Covid-safe, with markings for social distancing and hand sanitisers throughout the area near Perton Farm Shop.

Bradshaws Christmas Trees are based in Wrottesley Park Road, in Perton, opening between the hours of 9am and 5pm each day.
