The new spirits, which are being sold in 70cl bottles, can also be bought by click and collect from the BCA pubs from next week.

The online sales went live for Bradley's Pure Gold on Friday at www.blackcountryales.co.uk and Spirit of the Black Country goes on sale today on the website.

BCA is using its Fireside bitter to create the new Spirit of the Black Country with its most popular real ale Bradley's Golden Finest ale being used for Bradley's Pure Gold.

The business, based at Third Avenue, Pensnett Trading Estate, Kingswinford, had the beers distilled down to a 41 per cent spirit and bottled by the Beer Barrel Distillery Company.

"We are hoping that they will be a hit with our customers.

"It is a really nice drop and we are very pleased with how they have both come out," said Mr McMeeking.

The spirits will also be available on the optic at BCA's pubs that are in Tier 2, including three in Shropshire, from next week.
