Petition over 30m sign at new Cannock designer outlet rises to 400 signatures
More than 400 people have now signed a petition calling for a 30m-high sign outside a designer outlet in Staffordshire to be removed.
The large sign, outside the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet West Midlands outlet in Cannock, has been deemed a "monstrosity" by people living in the area.
It has led to a petition being launched by Heath Hayes & Wimblebury Parish Councillor Philippa Haden – with a total of 440 having signed it so far.
Chiefs behind the development said the installation marked an "exciting milestone" – and was a permanent feature at McArthurGlen centres across the world.
