But this aerial photograph in fact shows how work is progressing on demolishing eyesore Cavendish House.

The multi-storey tower block is being taken down piece by piece.

It will help pave the way for a multi-million-pound regeneration of the town centre.

The office block has been empty for years and it became a blot on the landscape.

Dudley Council tried for years to demolish the building which overlooks the Dudley Bypass, known as Duncan Edwards Way.

However work is now finally progressing and this incredible aerial image, taken by Express & Star photographer Tim Thursfield, shows the progress.

The demolition is expected to finish by the summer.

The building needs to be removed in order for the regeneration of the area to take place. Plans are in the pipeline for a new development on the land featuring residential, leisure and retail buildings.

The Midland Metro tram line will also run nearby and that is planned to open by 2023.
