Ascot Lloyd, one of the UK’s leading independently-owned independent financial advice firms, has opened new offices in Wolverhampton’s town centre, strengthening the firm’s commitment as a leading employer in the city.

The move involves the combining of Ascot Lloyd’s three existing Wolverhampton offices, in Cleveland Court, Three Charter Court and Waterloo Court. The office officially opened on November 25, with 100 staff moving into the new office.

The Wolverhampton team now has space on the second and thirdfloor at Waterloo Court, 31 Waterloo Road, at the junction of Waterloo Road and St Andrews/St Peters, in one of the area’s main office locations and financial hubs. The new offices provide a newly refurbished, modern working environment for employees, with the provision of extensive parking and with Ascot Lloyd having made significant investment into the refurbishment.

The move follows Ascot Lloyd’s acquisition of Newell Palmer in late 2018, now integrated as part of the Ascot Lloyd brand, bringing all its advisers in the area into one office space.

Ascot Lloyd hosted an opening ceremony on November 27, with chief executive Nigel Stockton attending.

He said: “The Midlands is the fastest-growing region in the UK outside of London and we’re seeing increasing demand for advisory solutions. The opening of our new Wolverhampton office marks an important move for Ascot Lloyd, signaling our continuous investment into Wolverhampton and our commitment to our clients and staff in the area.

"As our biggest national office we’re pleased to place our local teams under one roof with a new and more convenient working space for staff, ultimately bolstering our local and regional capabilities for existing and new clients."
