Fortnight of Wolverhampton events will be just the business

Wolverhampton is geared up for its biggest annual spotlight to support business growth.

The city’s annual Business Programme runs from Wednesday, September 18 until Wednesday, October 2.

Sponsored and supported by local businesses and partners, it offers events, workshops and training to help businesses to start, grow and succeed.

There is something of interest for all businesses whatever their type and size, from supply chain opportunities, international trading support and start-up help.

John Wood DL, director of Liberty Industries Group Ltd and chairman of the city’s Economic Growth Board, said: “As a business leader in the city I am pleased to play my part in shaping this annual programme of support, to help ensure businesses are geared up for continued success.”

Councillor Harman Banger, Wolverhampton Council cabinet member economy, said: “The council is proud to co-ordinate the city’s sixth annual business programme, which is a first-class example of strong partnership working to support the local economy. It demonstrates our commitment to supporting business growth.

“I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this year’s programme.

“Our pro-business attitude continues to attract new investment and secure business expansion, which together are generating thousands of jobs.”
