West Bromwich's Park Inn Hotel under new management
A popular hotel and match-day drinking spot in West Bromwich has been taken over by a new company.
The former The Park Inn Hotel by Radisson, off Europa Avenue, has now been taken over by hotel company AccorHotels and is named The West Bromwich Hotel and Spa.
Based off junction 1 of the M5, the hotel has always been well known as a hotspot for both West Brom footballers and fans – due to its close proximity to The Hawthorns.
The hotel was once known as the Europa Lodge and was created on Europa estate in the town.
The £750,000 Europa Lodge was completed on schedule ready for its opening in December 1972.
Staff have reassured customers and locals that the hotel will not be closing while the changeover takes place.
AccorHotels is a French multinational hospitality company that owns, manages and franchises hotels, resorts, and vacation properties.
