This is a sneak peek inside Walsall's new 60-bed Travelodge which is set to bring a dozen jobs to the area.
The hotel will be the company's 24th in the West Midlands and is scheduled to officially open this spring.
Travelodge received 2,500 applications from local residents for the 12 jobs which include one supervisor, five receptionists and six housekeeping team members.
The new Walsall Travelodge team is currently undergoing on-the-job training in Travelodge hotels across the West Midlands.
Bernie Buckland, hotel manager at Walsall Travelodge, said: “It's full steam ahead and we are working around the clock to get our first hotel in Walsall, open before Easter.
"With room rates starting from £29, we are expecting an influx of leisure customers to the Black Country during the holidays. Our new hotel will be a great attraction to the town as it is located close to the railway station and to popular attractions such as The Leather Museum and the New Art Gallery.
“My new team of 13 are currently undergoing their comprehensive training across our 23 West Midland hotels, so that we can hit the ground running as soon as we open for business.
“The final weeks leading to the hotel’s grand opening are very exciting, as this is when the real magic happens.''
The new hotel has been designed in the company’s contemporary design and features family, double and accessible rooms. The rooms feature the bespoke king-size Travelodge Dreamer bed, which offers bedside USB charging points, energy saving LED mood enhancing lighting and Italian acoustic door for extra soundproofing.
In addition, all rooms include an en-suite bathroom, power shower, comfort cooling, Freeview TV and free in-room tea and coffee making facilities.
