With a host of exhibitors from across the region, and with every business sector represented, exhibition stands were snapped up within hours and the Chamber events team are now running a waiting list.

“Expo provides a great networking opportunity and is one of the most effective ways to promote and build a business profile”, said Chamber marketing and communications manager Lisa Broughton.

She continued “It is a must for any company looking to connect, share information with existing contacts, and make new business contacts. The event puts the Black Country on the map and as a place to do business with, its free to attend and we’d encourage business people from around the wider Midlands region to come along to see just what businesses in the Black Country have to offer”.

The Expo takes place next Thursday, October 11, and there are a number of speed networking opportunities throughout the morning, starting from 9.30am; with hundreds already registered to visit and more expected to register in the final few days before the event kicks off at the Bescot Stadium.

This year’s event is expected to surpass the success of previous exhibitions with manufacturing, IT, legal, accountancy, finance, insurance, HR, recruitment and training; along with banking, finance, education, logistics, health & safety, public relations, workwear & apparel, retail, hotels, leisure, tourism, events and the conferencing sectors all represented.

Daniel Clarke, marketing manager at Walsall FC said, “We are always delighted to hold these types of events at the stadium and more so in conjunction with the Black Country Chamber of Commerce. I have been aware of the chamber for a long time and fully support everything they do to help businesses grow. Based in our Stadium Suite this event will give everyone the chance to network and enjoy some spectacular views of the Banks's Stadium pitch throughout the morning.

It is great to see so many different businesses all gathering at one location to discuss relevant topics and even better that it’s here at Walsall Football Club. We're excited to be hosting this event at the ground”.
