Wolverhampton Law Society unveils finalists ahead of annual awards
The best and brightest from the local professional services sector feature in the shortlist for this year's Wolverhampton Law Society Awards.
From leading firms to young professionals, including those playing their part in the community, the awards aim to recognise the quality of those practicing in and around the city.
The award judges have hailed this year's nominations as "particularly strong and diverse", with entries from solicitors, estate agents, accountants, independent financial advisors and the banking sector.
This year’s judges were leading local businessman and LEP members Ninder Johal, Black Country Chamber of Commerce chief executive Corin Crane, Ravinder Hothi from the Law Society and Professor Peter Walton from the University of Wolverhampton.
They met last month to shortlist the categories ahead of the Wolverhampton Law Society annual dinner at Molineux on November 24. This year's award category’s are Community Champion of the Year, Junior Professional of the Year, Professional of the Year and Professional Services Firm of the Year.
The judges said they were impressed with the quality of the nominations and the "outstanding" achievements displayed within those nominations. The nominations were a display of community engagement and support, positive and hardworking junior professionals, caring and “market changing” professionals and dynamic and pro-active professional service firms.
