National property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has been appointed to the vacant warehouse unit to market.

It sits on a 6.4 acre site at Parsonage Street, and is available for a new tenant on a leasehold basis.

Harry Lea, a surveyor in the industrial agency team at LSH in Birmingham, said it provided a rare opportunity in the region to acquire a warehouse unit with a large yard, which accommodates HGV parking, and also benefits from 'excellent' access to the motorway network.

“Given the severe shortage of industrial and warehouse units in the region with sufficient yard area for occupiers, bringing this warehouse to market is a real shot in the arm for the area," said Mr Lea.

"It provides a potential occupier with a very strong base from which to operate a successful business.

“It is a great unit in an ideal location, given the transport links, for potential occupiers working within the logistics and distribution sector.”

The site is located just 1.5 miles from Junction 1 and 2 of the M5 Motorway, and provides good access to the wider motorway network including the M6, M40 and the M42.

The main bay compromises six loading docks with eaves height of 8.5 metres, a 54,666 sq ft warehouse, a 14,621 sq ft loading tunnel with canopy and 1,759 sq ft of office space over two storeys.
