Hawthorn Holdings currently operates from sites in Smethwick and Wednesbury and has bought unit 10/11 on the Oldbury Road Industrial Estate as part of the company's ongoing investment and expansion plans.

The sale was handled by Birmingham chartered surveyors White Rose on behalf of an unnamed private client and the price for the brace of units is understood to be around £1.68million.

Whie Rose said the 46,000 sq ft single storey property has high eaves, of 7.6 metres, and is equipped with three 5-tonne overhead travelling cranes.

Access is via four roller shutter doors and the property also benefits from a substantial loading and parking area on a site that extends to more than 1.7 acres.
