F1 to open new autocentres

Expanding tyre and motor servicing chain Formula One Autocentres is taking on new staff for two new depots in the West Midlands.

It is planning to open sites in Cannock and Kidderminster this year and is currently recruiting.

The family-owned company will be taking on more than 10 people in total including managers, MOt testers, technicians and tyre and exhaust fitters.

It is not disclosing where the new depots will be located at this stage.

Formula One, which started in Herfordshire in 1969, currently has 60 sites across the country employing 450.

It has existing West Midlands branches in Blackheath and Lye.
