Watch: Drone footage captures aftermath of Smethwick blaze

Fire crews were called at 10.08am on Sunday morning to a blaze that broke out at a waste facility in Radbone Lane in Smethwick. 

West Midlands Fire Service sent eight crews to the scene, which is a short distance from the Radbone Lane train station.

The crews were initially using a high volume pump to spray large amounts of water on the affected areas, but it has since been taken away. 

People have been told to avoid the area and to keep windows and doors closed.
