Wolverhampton Community Radio (WCR) has bid farewell to longtime breakfast presenter Stuart Hickman, who aired his final morning show on Friday (March 28). 

The presenter has been the voice of the morning commute for 10 years after coming back to his homeland of Wolverhampton following spells presenting shows across the UK. 

Over the decade Stuart and the WCR team helped to provide fantastic background music to millions of commuters and early risers across the city.

 Stuart Hickman is celebrating his 62nd birthday and also 10 years on the Breakfast show, which his is stepping back from. Pictured with a present and Chairman: Chris Allen

In an especially poignant farewell, Stuart was also presented with a birthday cake to celebrate his 62nd birthday.
