Staffordshire Police road crime team kept busy with five cars taken off road after being stopped on M6
Members of the road crime team in Staffordshire were kept busy after stopping drivers with no licences and a number of other motor offences.

The officers from Staffordshire Police's Road Crime Team had first sighted and stopped a Toyota Yaris on the M6 near junction 11 on Wednesday afternoon.
They found that the driver had no licence and no insurance, so was reported and the car seized.
While dealing with the Yaris driver, they spotted a Vauxhall Astra being driven at speed and after stopping it, found the driver had a revoked/refused licence due to medical grounds.
As with the Yaris, the driver was reported and the car seized.
A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: "Two for one. The Yaris was sighted at Junction 11 of the M6 and the driver held no licence & no insurance.
"Whilst dealing with the Yaris, we sighted the Astra and we found the driver to have a revoked/refused licence due to medical grounds."

Later in the afternoon, officers seized a VW Sharan, a Vauxhall Astra and a Volvo after finding that the driver of the VW had no licence of insurance, the Vauxhall had fake insurance purchased on WhatsApp and the Volvo also had no insurance and the driver had no licence.
