At 9.30am on Friday, October 28, 2022, two masked men burst into the travel agents and threatened the lone female worker in the shop

They forced her to open the safe and made off with £11,200 in Sterling and foreign currency. The pair disappeared down an alley and made their getaway in a car with cloned number plates, which due to the distinctive model gave police a lead which led to the arrest of Paul Gallagher, 49.

Gallagher, of Abigail Road, Birmingham, is standing trial for robbery at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
