West Midlands Police have announced that a 16-year-old boy has been charged with burglary and theft of a motor vehicle following a burglary incident earlier this month.
The charge comes after a vehicle was stolen from a property in Dastan Gardens, Tipton, on March 14, with a trophy and the vehicle keys being stolen from inside the address.
The latest charge comes after following police enquiries into the incident, with the 16-year-old now also being charged with burglary and theft of a motor vehicle.
A 17-year-old has previously been charged with burglary and dangerous driving.
Two other teenagers were also arrested on suspicion of burglary and were both bailed pending further enquiries.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We understand the impact vehicle crime has on the public and you can take some simple steps to secure your vehicle.
"The best way to protect your vehicle, and valuables, is to layer up your security."
The 16-year-old is due to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today.
