Police and officers from Birmingham City Council's trading standards team visited the store in King’s Road, shortly before 11am last Thursday, March 20 after a tip off about suspected illegal activity.
By law, disposable vapes must have a tank capacity of no more than two ml and no more than 650 puffs. It is likely that anything over 650 puffs will contain more than the legal volume limit and so should not be on sale.

Shortly after the arrests at the shop, searches were carried out at the homes of the suspects, where around £400,000 was seized along with suspected cannabis and cocaine.
The man, aged 53 and the woman, aged 41, were both arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods, money laundering, possessing a knife, supplying drugs, possessing an offensive weapon and acquiring criminal property.
Sergeant Kasey Corbett, from the Brandwood neighbourhood policing team: said: “We really appreciate it when people take the time to contact us about suspected criminal activity in their area – it shows that people trust us to act.“

"As part of our ongoing investigation, the suspected illegal vapes and drugs will be analysed by experts.”
Both defendants have been released on bail as the joint police and trading standards investigation continues.
