22 joyful pictures of the 2025 Wolverhampton 10k as thousands of runners raise funds for charity

Runners of all abilities donned their running shoes and hit the streets of Wolverhampton to raise money for charity.

This year's Wolverhampton 10K was kickstarted into action at Molineux Stadium on Sunday (March 23) morning where participants were all warmed-up and raring to go.

The race began at Wolves stadium before runners took to nearby roads, battling the foggy conditions, before reaching the finish line back at Molineux.

And it was all for a good cause, with money raised from this year's 10k going towards Wolverhampton-based palliative care provider, Compton Care.

Our photographer, Tim Thursfield, was at Molineux Stadium to capture the excitement as the race began.

The event, which started in 2022, is organised by RunThrough and has proven more popular each year, with more than 2,000 people racing around the city in 2024 and around £25,000 raised for charity.
