Road closures for ‘works’ on key Black Country routes as buses are diverted on Saturday

‘Works’ are underway on key Black Country routes affecting traffic from this morning (Saturday, March 22).
National Express West Midlands is warning bus passengers of diversions and motorists will be affected too.
The first diversion is at Causeway Green Road which is closed to all southwest bound traffic between Wolvehrampton Road and dPound Road. It began at 8am today and is due to remain in place until 5pm on Sunday.
No details of what the ‘works’ are have been provided.
National Express said: “Causeway Green Road closed to all southwest bound traffic between Wolverhampton Road and Pound Road for works.
“The Number 49 to Bearwood; From Vicarage Road: Moat Road, Pound Road, Causeway Green Road to normal line of route.
“The Number 49 to West Bromwich; Reverse of above”.
The second road closure begins on Monday, March 24, and remains in place until Friday, March 28.. It is at Collingwood Drive which National Express West Midlands says will be closed to all westbound traffic between Morland Road and Beacon Road for works.
No information about the ‘works’ has been provided.
National Express West Midlands said the 934/936 services were affected along with the number 5 and 997.
