Councillors call for Brierley Hill police base to be saved

Two Brierley Hill councillors have written to West Midlands Police and Crime commissioner (PCC) Simon Foster about plans for Brierley Hill police station

 Conservative councillors for Brierley Hill and Wordsley South Adam Davies and Wayne Little have written to Mr Foster in the wake of Smethwick Police Station being saved by splitting the building for dual use, to allow officers to stay there.

The letter, seen by the Express & Star calls for the PCC to make sure the police base is kept in Brierley Hill; Prevent the existing building from becoming an empty eyesore; Keep the public front desk in an accessible location that makes sense and keep emergency response officers in Brierley Hill around the clock
