Orthopaedic surgeon Mr Shah was sacked by the Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust after hundreds of hospital patients were recalled amid concerns about upper limb operations which left some patients without the use of their arms.
Some patients have lost the use of their arm and live in constant pain since their operations and some received compensation for botched operations, but Mr Shah continued operating.
He carried out NHS operations at Walsall Manor Hospital and privately at Spire Little Aston between 2010 and 2021 before he was suspended at Walsall by the trust and dismissed in November 2022.
